For our Down Tools Week project we need your help to assemble a set of new features and capabilities that could span across the tools in the SQL Toolbelt.
What if it were possible for a tool to save state globally, so it can be leveraged by other tools? This state could be settings, configuration, files, artifacts, metadata, or any other state you can imagine.
We’d like for the scope of the sharing to be as broad as possible. This could be restricted to an individual (ie, my user setting roams across my installed tools and across the machines I’m logged into), or shared with specific individuals across a defined team (for example, configuration could be defined as a standard to be used across my team or organization) or maybe there's value in sharing to the entire Redgate user community?
Let us know your thoughts. No idea is too wacky!
