Hi @ccparkhill Following my previous message, I'm pleased to advise that distinct count has now also been added to SQL Prompt. Hi @Amol_Gurav Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. Unfortunately this isn't possible directly within SQL Data Compare, however you can generate the CSV file results report file (https://documentation.red-gate.com/sdc/reviewing-the-comparison-results/exporting-the-comparison-results) and import the data from that file into the required database table. / comments

Hi @ChrisF1234 Thanks for your reply on this. As a first step here, could you please update to the latest version of SQL Data Compare (v.15.4.2 - https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLDataCompare/SQLDataCompare_15.4.2.27580.exe) to see if this issue persists? / comments

Hi @ChrisF1234 Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. I've just done some testing on this. When I have "Show identical values in results" unchecked it does not show any identical results for me. Are you possibly able to provide a screenshot of your results view? Also, just to check, do you now have the very latest version of SQL Data Compare installed? / comments

Hi @ccparkhill Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. I'm glad the new aggregate values feature is useful, however I appreciate being able to have distinct count would also be a good feature. I've escalated this to our development team for their consideration and will come back to you again as soon as I have heard back from them. / comments

Hi @adam_hafner Many thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. I've been trying to reproduce what you're describing, but so far I'm not see the same behavior. Would you mind confirming what versions of SQL Test and SSMS you currently have installed? Also, if you are possibly able to provide any screenshots showing this behavior, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to reach out to you privately via a Support ticket if you are not comfortable with providing these on this public forum. / comments

Hi @... Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. Unfortunately you cannot utilize a WHERE clause when using the /s1:source1 /db1:TEST /s2:source2 /db2:TEST switches. In order to use one you will need to first create a project using the SQL Data Compare GUI where you can configure the WHERE clause. Then, using the CLI, you will need to replace the /s1:source1 /db1:TEST /s2:source2 /db2:TEST switches with /project:"<path to the project file.sdc>". This is also mentioned in our documentation: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sdc/using-the-command-line/command-line-syntax/switches-used-in-the-command-line I hope this helps! / comments
