Hi @SqlUser Please can you delete any files in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Red Gate\\Shared Client that look like ".rgupdate_bad_xxxx", and then try running the msi file. If that fails there may be a problem connecting to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) so could you try opening a command prompt as an administrator and then running: netsh http show iplisten Is there an entry for 127.0.0.1 here? If not could you run the following command which should setup the client to listen for it: netsh http add iplisten 127.0.0.1 / comments

@Steve_Nguyen - What versions of SQL Prompt and SSMS are you running? If it's an old version it may be that it's not supported by SSMS 18. @williaml - SQL Prompt 6.5 isn't supported by SSMS 18. For SQL Prompt requirements please see this documentation; just select the documentation link for your version of SQL Prompt and then click on requirements (or Getting Started>Requirements): https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp6/requirements / comments

Hi @... Sometimes, after upgrading SQL Prompt (or a bundle of products that contains SQL Prompt), it will disappear from the Redgate toolbar in SQL Server Management Studio. This can sometimes be fixed by repairing the SIP Framework installation:
Open Programs and Features
Right-click SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1 and select Repair
You should now be able to access SQL Prompt normally but if it still doesn't appear in Management Studio uninstall and reinstall the tool.
Open Add or Remove Programs
Click on SQL Prompt and select Uninstall
Install the latest version of the tool

You can manage your licenses in the customer portal. You can log in here; or create a Redgate ID here if you don't already have one set up. / comments
