Hi @...
Sometimes, after upgrading SQL Prompt (or a bundle of products that contains SQL Prompt), it will disappear from the Redgate toolbar in SQL Server Management Studio.
This can sometimes be fixed by repairing the SIP Framework installation:
- Open Programs and Features
Right-click SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1 and select Repair
You should now be able to access SQL Prompt normally but if it still doesn't appear in Management Studio uninstall and reinstall the tool.
- Open Add or Remove Programs
Click on SQL Prompt and select Uninstall
- Install the latest version of the tool

Same issue, but the solution suggested doesn't change anything for me. Can't get the SQL Prompt menu.. I use SSMS 2017..
tried uninstall and install several times..
pls advice

@GamperFound out SQL Prompt 9.4 and SQL Search menu not available in SSMS 2008 R2 are not working.Latest version of SQL Prompt and SQL Search are not supported anymore in SSMS 2008 R2, but it should work in SSMS 17.
What's the full version of your SSMS 17? If you go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions , do you see SQLPrompt and SQLSearch folder?
Do you have any other addins in SSMS?

SQL SSMS v17.9
I see SQLSearch but not SQLPrompt in that folder.
I also have SQL Source Control, which is also in that folder.

what to try next? Is it not installed correct?

@Gamper
Reinstall usually should resolve the issue.
As you are supported, we've opened a support ticket and will get back to directly. -
@Tianjiao_Li, any progress on the support ticket?

Found out SQL Prompt 9.4 and SQL Search menu not available in SSMS 2008 R2 are not working.
