 Please can you delete any files inC:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Red Gate\\Shared Clientthat look like ".rgupdate_bad_xxxx", and then try running the msi file.
 If that fails there may be a problem connecting to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) so could you try opening a command prompt as an administrator and then running:
 netsh http show iplisten
 Is there an entry for 127.0.0.1 here?
 If not could you run the following command which should setup the client to listen for it:
 netsh http add iplisten 127.0.0.1
