When running an application, the following notification will occur if the software you are running was processed (obfuscated) with an unlicensed or trial version of our Smart Assembly software.
If this isn't software you created, please reach out to your software vendor to let them know this has accidentally been released so that they can correct it and release a package without the limitation.
If the affected software is authored by yourself, this scenario mostly likely occurs if your product subscription has expired (due to the renewal being cancelled) or the licence has been transferred to another machine by an administrator.
If a licence simply needs moving, you can do this in the customer portal.
The licensing for processed assemblies is evaluated at build time rather than runtime and as a consequence of this, it isn't retroactive to any obfuscated binaries.
Once your product is fully licensed, a fresh assembly will need obfuscating and will no longer have this limitation or any other lifetime constraints.
