Hi Sanjay,   The latest version of SQL Multi Script resolves a known Entra MFA issue.   I've linked the installer as well as the release notes for you below: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLMultiScript/SQLMultiScript_1.7.11.4765.exe   Version 1.7.11 - September 17th, 2026 Fixes Fixed an issue where interactive authentication with Microsoft Entra ID could fail when the required MSAL runtime was not available.  Can you update and let me know if it resolves the issue for you? / comments Official comment

Hi everyone, Can you please try the following? Close SSMS. Navigate to the folder: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\RedGate\CFU Delete the SQLToolbeltEssentials.exe file. Reopen SSMS. Run Check for Updates again and retry the installation. Please let me know how this works. / comments

Hi Chris, We've linked the Toolbelt installer so that in the case a customer uses multiple tools, everything is updated at once. We've seen cases where a mix of up-to-date and out-of-date causes issues within SSMS, so this will make sure everything is up-to-date. / comments

Hi all, I troubleshot this with Tom and it was due to a rogue version of SSMS installed on the machine. Once we removed it, the install was able to complete. If anyone else comes across this error, we encourage you to reference the Windows Event Viewer logs as it pointed to the culprit. / comments Official comment
