@Ben_P I'm suggesting primarily that these kinds of things should not pop up unexpectedly in a production environment. The pop-up actually hijacks the mouse and cursor - my typing is in progress and moves typing into the already-open object explorer. / comments

Hello, Latest 7.5.4 with SSMS19 GA support now works in 19, but I get this when opening it in the latest 18.12.1. This is from the ActivityLog.xml which was where the error pointed me to. I installed 10.13.0.31319... so far no problems, and the history is a breath of fresh air. Still took a while to come up, but apparently I had an enormous number of SQL statements in history. I was able to easily remove everything older than a month, and when I re-opened it the response was near-instantaneous. / comments
