Hello,

I appreciate the product more than you know.

But having a marketing referral prompt jump up at me after opening SSMS and I've already started typing code, which is now cursor-forced over to the object explorer where my expected typing is suddenly re-directed and I make unexpected changes to objects that I didn't intend - this is not good.

I don't see an option to prevent these in the future. I hope this goes away, and does not become a part of the product permanently. Surely there must be a way to notify us without a pop-up.

    Thank you for your post. You can clear the notification permanently by clicking the "Dismiss" option. After this the pop-up shouldn't return.

    @Ben_P I'm suggesting primarily that these kinds of things should not pop up unexpectedly in a production environment. The pop-up actually hijacks the mouse and cursor - my typing is in progress and moves typing into the already-open object explorer.

    I wasn't aware that it could hijack the mouse, but I understand how that would be annoying. I'll pass on the feedback to the product team for SQL Prompt.
