Andras,
Thank you for the explaination. I now understand how to make it work.
Another question. Why don't you layout the SQL for the proc according to the selected rules for Lay out SQL? Seems sort of crazy that the auto generated SQL is in a different layout that want I have specified. If I want to make my proc look as I wish I now have to take the second step of formatting. Sort of diminishes the value of a tool that is suppose to make me more efficient especially when the tool already has the second function.
Any input on the loss of the comment block? I have asked on the SQL prompt section about support for a comment block as an insert. Currently it crashes Prompt. Seems to be no one from Red Gate replying on that group.

Bart,
Thanks for the reply.
I have already bought my Prompt 3 license so I am waiting anxiously for it's introduction.
Any input on Auto Insert being case sensitive in recognizing the shortcut code when you use it, but not being case sensitive when you try to establish a shortcut? Mentioned this in a previous post regarding ssf working and SSF not working. But I can not add in SSF as an additional auto insert as the option screen thinks it is the same as ssf.

I agree that notification should be going out to us customers that have paid in advance for the product. I should not have to go looking for details or pester on the forum to get an update on when Red Gate will deliver an overdue product that I have already paid for.
At this point I don't feel that they just owe me the product, they owe something extra as a way of appologizing. They missed the opportunity to make a good impression when the delivery slipped and the communication was lacking. Now just doing what was originally expected does not offset the negative impression they have created.
Fortunately I have dealt with Red Gate for a while with other products and know that this is not their normal service. Unfortunately they have now given themselves a big black eye and given an existing customer a very bad experience.

Tabs would conform to what I do when typing the code and doing manual layout. I would consider tabs to be a better option for me.

It is not that I want separate snippets for ssf and SSF. I just want Prompt to bring up "SELECT * FROM " regardless whether I type it upper, lower, or mixed.
I was only trying to input an additional snippet under SSF that was identical to the one under ssf in Prompt 2 because it is case sensitive to the entry I make into Management Studio.
Anxiously awaiting the release of Prompt 3.

Andras,
Understand doing it in 2 steps as some will only want one or the other. But it seems that adding a selection to the options of layout specifying UPPER keywords would offer the benefit to those that wanted it and not affect those that did not. Plus both functions are still available separately.
Guess my thinking is this is a relatively costly add on at $295. The way it is currently implemented is as if you are getting a collection of stand alone tools. The ability to invoke multiple tools on the same code would make it more of a value to me as well as making me feel it was an integrated app, not a tool kit.
Please don't think I am just complaining. I like the product enough that I have already purchased my license.

Would love to see the Upper Case Keyword become an option on layout SQL. Definitely would be faster than doing it as 2 distinct steps.

That would be a VERY handy idea. Maybe if they pop the list after you type the second "@. That way variables would not trip the list, but 2 @" in a row would.

I am experiencing the same issue. Comparing a backup to a database using Pro edition. Even if I select a single table it is throwing the error when I hit the Sync Wizzard.
This is a simple comparision without any filters. Even happening if I only select a single table to sync.
