Wish list

First of all thanks for letting me participate in the pre-release. The items below are more of a wish-list than a bug report; most of the "issues" are the same as in version 5 and so they have been annoying me for a while.

Templates:
- When you use a backup template it would be nice if the name of the template was pre-populated in step 5 "Review backup summary".
- The template names are still space-sensitive with regards to trailing spaces; I think the names should be trimmed
- As a developer I frequently restore sets of (related) backups to recreate a baseline for development and testing, so from my non-dba point of view it would be nice to have restore templates as well as backup templates

Abort:
- There is still no option to abort a (long running) backup (as I usually don't deal with production databases I typically restart the server engine to achieve this)

Mouse scroll-wheel:
- It would be more intuitive if the scroll wheel would (vertically) scroll the database list rather than (horizontally) zoom the timeline in and out. I know that Ctrl-wheel will scroll the database list but for my intuition this should be the other way around.

Restoring Standard Backups:
- It would be nice if standard SQL Server backups could also be restored through SQL Backup so it would be the single point of backup maintenance.

    The mouse wheel behaviour changes depending on what you're hovering over. If you move it over the server list it'll behave as you expect.

    I will discuss this and your other points with the team.

    I agree with Alex's desire to use SQL Backup to restore standard SQL Server Backups, but would go one further. I would like to use the front end to to drive standard SQL Server restores from a SQL Backup file without going through the command line sqb2mft.exe.

    Thanks for the feedback regarding native backup & restore activity. This is something we're considering for a future release of SQL Backup, and the more confirmation we get of the interest in this, the more likely it is that it'll get into a release.
