If you don't have permissions to decrypt objects in the database, SQL Compare will not be able to get the default value of some columns. This will result in the SQL View showing the message, "No text is available," in lieu of the default value.
If this is the case, make sure you have sysadmin permissions in order to properly decrypt objects.
