Its possible this is down to the Permission sampler as that runs on boot up. If you can send the log files in to support we can also investigate turning off that sampler as a test.
Hi Russell. Thanks for the reply. Where can I find the log files you referring are to please? Thanks.

Hi Alex. Thanks for your reply. We've already given it a whirl and found that our recordset (well over 10000 rows I might add) had massive issues in trying to download and compare. I'll take what you've recommended, have a word with the developers and see if there's a workaround for their requirements or omit the static data completely. Thanks again!

Update: I have found a workaround, but it isn't pretty.... After the migration script has been used all the way to the production environment, do the following:
Under the migrations tab, remove the existing migration script from the inventory
Commit and push the migration script removal change
Unlink the local database from Source Control
Relink local database to Source Control
Use Get Latest and the changes will be there to merge into your local database
All previous changes covered in the migration script is still in my local database
My conclusion is this is definitely a problem with the migration scripts functionality - unless I am using them in the incorrect way or my filters are wrong.....
I'd be very interested to see what Redgate tech support has to say about this.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Version used is 7.0.11.8918

Hello everyone. I must admit, I didn't know that this request would gain so much traction in such a short space of time. It's been interesting to read everyone's opinion and feedback on this issue.
Thank you to everyone for throwing their support behind this and special thanks to the people at Redgate for listening and for the quick turnaround time in releasing the new functionality.

Hi Having a bit of a dig around, I found the alert I was looking for: The SQL Server Error log alert with severity threshold metric. That did the job for me. Thanks.

Hi @Alex B - thanks for getting back to me. I have tried all of the standard metrics and reports in SQL Monitor but none of them are really what i'm after. I will head over to the new feature request page and see if I have any luck there. Many thanks again for your help with this! Regards, Robin.

Hi Russell. I'll see if we get the same result on this weekends DBCC run. If we do, I'll send the logs to you first thing on Monday morning. What is the process of sending into support please? Thanks.
