Hi, Yes. You would need to purchase and software under your own name, email address and payment method, rather than the company's. Eg. Company name and company email could not be used. You would also be ultimately responsible to comply with the terms of the EULA. Which can be found on our website! https://www.red-gate.com/assets/purchase/assets/license.pdf / comments

Hi Alan, No, not quite the same. Our tool replaces the data with masked data. You only want to do this to obfuscate data on test systems so you have lifelike data that does not breach data privacy rights. SQL Datamasker works just the same pre or post-2016 editions. / comments

Hi Jonathan, If Object Explorer is slow to respond with SQL Source Control, it may help to disable the automatic polling option - if you haven't done so already! You can disable this from Options>Indicate changed objects in the Object Explorer and update indicators every X seconds. Please untick the option, restart SSMS, and test. [image] If the issue persists, it may be due to the object locking feature. You can disable this too!
Close SSMS
Open the file %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Source Control X\RedGate_SQLSourceControl_Engine_EngineOptions.xml in a text editor
Add the tag to disable object locking as below<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <!----> <EngineOptions version="3" type="EngineOptions"> <EnableObjectLocking>False</EnableObjectLocking> </EngineOptions>
Restart SSMS to test.
Besides this, if you are still experiencing unusable response times, please could I ask that you log a ticket with support so that we can request a bit more information from you? / comments

Hi Amy, Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, as SSRS is a Microsoft Product and not a Redgate Product there is little information we can offer you on the subject. However, Microsoft also has a Forum and your question may be better placed here! https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/home / comments

Hi, Thanks for your post! SQL Prompt should have installed to all available! It's worth noting this stage that although SQL Prompt appears to have installed into VS2019 for you, this has not been tested by Redgate and is therefore not a supported platform. You may be able to extract the msi and run the install with the ADDLOCAL=ALL switch as shown in the msiexec command in step 3 from the Install the product section on this page: https://documentation.red-gate.com/xx/installing/installing-from-the-msi-file Please let us know how you get on! / comments

Hi Jan, Yes, I better understand now, thank-you! Unfortunately, there isn't a feature that is particularly suited to what you need. However, I would urge you to add it to https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/94413-sql-prompt as a feature request! / comments

Hi Jan, Unfortunately, there isn't anything for databases or columns, however, for the keywords, functions and types there's a formatting option for UpperCamelCase (starts with uppercase) and lowerCamelCase (starts with lowercase) which you can get to from SQL Prompt menu > Edit formatting styles > select style to edit > Press edit and then find this menu: [image] / comments

Hi Ian, Sadly the products are not yet supported by Server 2019. Some products may work, but have not been tried tested and therefore supported by Redgate. / comments

By default SQL Data Compare will not save the deployment script, you'll need to select the option to Save. If you do, the default location is %USERPROFILE%\Documents\SQL Data Compare\SQL Scripts\ / comments
