The 'normal' alert configuratuioin doesn't allow you to specify particular disks - it monitors all that it can see for a specified server. However, you could use the 'custom metrics' to write a process that returned the free space for a particular drive and add an alert to that. / comments

Could you clarify this please? Are you using Ola's backup process to create the backup but attempting the restore via the Redgate Backup Pro ? If you restore via T-SQL, does it work? / comments

You aren't the only one to have mentioned this issue. If the server with Monitopr installed restarts, it also resets the timing to start at that point in time, which is less than ideal. There is a 'suggestion' that can be voted on, which has been in place for some time - https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/3200910-add-an-option-to-schedule-when-custom-metrics-run / comments

Data Compare does it's best to map tables from the Source to the Target. So, it is a two-stage process to override this - you need to unmap what it has mapped and tell it to map the tables as you want it to. In my example below I'm using a copy of an old ASP_State database and I have copied ASPTempSessions to ASPTempSessions_Copy. Currently, Data Compare has mapped the tables as you would expect. First, I select ASPTempSessions and click on the 'unmap' button. [image] Then I select ASPStateTempSessions_Copy and do the same. This gives me a screen that shows tables that are no longer mappedy, in the lower half of the dialog. [image] Now, I can select the two tables that I want to compare against each other. [image] And then press 'Map'. This will then the two tables mapped to each other, so you can select them for camparison. [image] / comments

If you're using Data Compare via the GUI, it allows you to select the same database for both the Source and the Target. Then you can select the two tables that you wish to compare. I've used it this way for checking how data has changed, after a test run of an update. / comments

Thanks for the reply Robyn. In this caase the AG does sit on top of a cluster but I'm happier installing it as if standalone (and we have plenty of licenses). Installing it individually means that I have full control, whereas we need to drag extra departments in for a cluster install. Thanks for your time, Steve. / comments

Well, it took a while but we finally managed to upgrade to the latest version of Monitor. Yes, it fixed the issue and the pdf attachments are all fine now. Thanks for your time. / comments

It doesn't make sense to myself, to only get the result back from the last test, when an entire test class has been executed.
