A short update:
I did manage to update the settings after all but it was sort of akward.
I uninstalled everything, logged on to Windows as the alternate user (user2), installed both SQLPrompt and Refactor, edited settings successfully, logged out, logged in to Windows again as user1, started SSMS with Run As User2, and then the settings are ok and I can use it just fine.
However; every time I close a query window in SSMS I still get the error message posted obove here. It is somewhat annoying but since it's not causing any damage it doesn't really matter that much. / comments

This is really weird. I uninstalled completely and verified that the program was not present when logging on as both User1 and User2. Then I rebooted, logged on as User2, installed, ran SSMS and then the meny appeared. Great...so far. Then I logged off, logged on as User1, ran SSMS as User2 and the meny was not there. So I logged back off, logged on as User2 again, ran SSMS and now the menu was gone! I've spent 1.5 hour on this now and I got tired of it so I located the EngineOptions.xml and UIOptions.xml files in C:\Documents and Settings\User2\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3 and modified the settings using UltraEdit. Tedious but it sees to have done the trick...

It seems that I can't get this menu element to appear if my life depended on it!
"User1" is my regular account and "User2" is my special account with special privileges in my company network and on the database servers. Both are local admins on my laptop.
I have uninstalled and installed again with both users and what happens is that if log on with User1 and run SSMS as User1 the menu appears but when I choose "Run as" and runs as User2 it doesn't. The menu doesn't show when I log on with User2 either...I tried modifying the settings running as User1 but they don't seem to work for User2. I have tried rebooting and everything... / comments

Thanx for the swift reply! And great news about the indentation...good work [image]
Are the currently defined keywords in Refactor those I can find in BOL under "Reserved Keywords (Transact-SQL)"? The ones I was referring to were sql server functions I guess and the more you add the merrier 8) / comments

As far as I can see none of the keywords normally highlighted in pink are converted to uppercase. I also find it more natural to have this as a part of the "Lay out SQL" options instead of having to do this in two steps. In my opinion they both have to do with SQL layout...
But that beeing said, this tool is awesome! My sql server predecessor never used indentation or uppercase keywords and his procedures are a mess to read...with SQL Refactor it's all looking beatiful at the click of a few buttons [image] / comments

Don't know about the vista-dude but it works like a charm now after a bit of tweaking. What I did is this (User1 is regular user, User2 is alternate user):
At first:
- Logged on User1
- Installed SQL Prompt
- Started SSMS as User2
- Got error #80040154
Then:
- Logged off computer with User1
- Logged in with User2
- Installed SQL Prompt again
- Verified that it worked in SSMS
- Logged out as User2
- Logged back in as User1
- Started SSMS as User2
- Everything works like a charm [image] / comments

I got the exact same problem...any resolution? When I run SSMS under the logged on user account it works like it should, however for me to be able to use the program I need it to work under alternate credentials also.
Hope this will be added to the "to-do" list before release [image] / comments
