Personally, i prefer the auto save feature of SQL Compare 7 compared to the save/save as feature of SQL Data Compare. I don't like having to come up with unique names for each "project". I would rather have the tool keep track of that info and make it that much quicker for me. John / comments

If you provide a default value for the "project" then that is good enough for me! I don't like being forced into naming it myself, just give me the option if I need it. John / comments

Is the bug you discovered the Response application causing deadlocks with other processes in SQL SErver? From the SQL error log, that appears to be what is going on. We have deadlocks showing up now since installing the app and we never had these before... John / comments

Daniel, It seems that this is only occuring for an alert on one server. There are other alerts that are not giving this error so not sure what would be causing it. I was able to view other alert details for this particular server but they weren't deadlock alerts. Thought the extra detail might be helpful. Let me know if you need anything else. John / comments

Ok, I didn't realize it would create the baseline from the job history. Very nice feature! I just sent the log files to your email address. THanks, John / comments
