Hi @Bugmeister so the tool is actually working as designed, as the intention is for users to control this through the User Interface, as SQL Source Control is an interactive tool. However if you wish for this to be added, my suggestion would be to post your idea here on this forum for the Product Managers to review / comments

Hi @John_Simpson from what you've described it sounds like the first option would cause much less problems, especially with having to unlink/relink and the issuesthat can arise from it. having said that there might be someone on the forum who would have another solution. However that's my thoughts and hope it helps! / comments

Hi @BugmeisterThe "Contains" option in the dropdown filter rules behaves the same as SQL Compares LIKE as does the "Does not contain" behaves the same as the SQL Compare NOT LIKE option. This allows you to use the wildcard (%) character. Hope this helps! / comments

Hi mjninc there's nothing officially documented on this and so I've come up with a method that might help you! if you edit your project within SQL Data Compare and change the "Owner mapping" and then unmap all the schemas you don't wish to compare and perform a re-compare. This will then only show tables mapped to the particular schema. Similarly if you're also curious about SQL Compare, you can achieve this much easier using the filters! I hope this helps! / comments

Hi @... without performing any test cases myself I can't be 100% certain. However I would presume this is due to enhancements made in version 14 that version 10 is unaware of and can't handle and therefore throws "UNKNOWN". May I ask why you're opening a Compare 14 snapshot in Compare 10? / comments

Hi @BogdanS unfortunately this wouldn't be possible, in SQL Compare the Index is a part of the table and therefore relies on it. You can exclude the index from the table as you've mentioned, however you can't have the index without the table. Hope this covers it! / comments

Hi @BogdanS you're most welcome! Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to comment on any proposed features as that's down to the product managers and the development teams. They do however monitor this forum here for feature requests. My best advice would be to see if there's a request related to vote on or post a new one! Hope this helps! / comments
