SQL Compare snapshot compatibility between versions

I have created a snapshot using SQL Compare 14 but when opening with SQL Compare 10 the source details of the snapshot say 'UNKNOWN' in the SQL Compare UI. Does anyone know if this is a forward-compatibility issue between SQL Compare versions?

    Hi @... without performing any test cases myself I can't be 100% certain. However I would presume this is due to enhancements made in version 14 that version 10 is unaware of and can't handle and therefore throws "UNKNOWN". May I ask why you're opening a Compare 14 snapshot in Compare 10?
