Hi @Chris_P1 Please can you open the tool and then visit http://localhost:22221/redgate/status.html There will be a link 'Activate using fallback' in the recently connected products list. From there you are able to view an alternative licensing dialog which you'll use to activate. / comments

Hi all Thank you for your patience with this issue. The development team have reviewed the bug in a prioritization of open issues and unfortunately they are unable to fix it. When reviewing bugs the development team take into account the impact it has and the number of users affected and unfortunately we are unable to fix all bugs and have to prioritize fixing the ones that cause the greatest impact. Hi @shaw89 Yes, as long as you are the sole license user, you can install it on as many machines as you need. You will need to log in with your Redgate ID each time. https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025381934-Logging-in-when-activating-a-license / comments

Hi @thum_lothar Firstly, if you haven't installed the latest version of SQL Search please can you try this. Here's the latest installer: ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQLSearch/31May2019/SQLSearch.exe If the problem persists please can you run the installer and click the Redgate icon at the top left and use verbose logging? Then after reproducing the error, can you please attach a copy of the log file? / comments

Hi @... I'm sorry that you've run into a problem activating your SQL Prompt license. Please could you try: Opening SQL Prompt. Navigate to the following location on your machine with a browser that isn't IE http://localhost:22221/redgate/status.html
Under 'Recently connected products' you should be able to see the product you opened. Click on this link and attempt the login and activation. Close and reopen the Redgate tool and it should be licensed. If this doesn't help, are your trying to activate on a machine that's not connected to the internet? / comments
