The scripts folder feature in SQL Compare exists to support comparing and deploying using scripts folders created with SQL Compare and other Redgate tools (SQL Source Control).
Having said that you might be able to use this feature on scripts folders created by other means (however bear in mind that this is unsupported).

I assume you are using SSMS 2016 RC0. If that's the case your issue should be resolved by updating to the latest Frequent Update (version 4.3.0), which was released today. http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... nt+Updates

There was recent update on Azure v12 that caused the behavior you are describing.
The good news is that SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare were patched to address that issue this Monday.
Please download the latest release from the frequent updates channel and try again.

No, the only way to do this is to use Migration scripts.
However if an object with the same definition on the VCS already exists on a target database linked SQL Source Control, the tool will not attempt to create it.
