Hi again,
having put on my thinking cap and carefully rereading your post i remembered a tiny but most important detail. SQL Prompt 2 only works with Database projects. So it's not going to work if you add a text file with an sql extension to any other type of project. Sorry about that.

Hi,
Given that you have enabled Visual Studio 2005 in the options dialog it should just work. Could you tell me a bit about your system? I.e. what's your OS, .NET Framework versions, language/regional settings?

Hi Micheal,
thanks for posting. We are aware of the 'self join' issue and it will be fixed in version 3.
I will add your suggestion regarding the order of foreign keys in the ON clause. I take it, your convention is to have the tables in the ON bit the same order as in the FROM ... JOIN part?

Hi Dennis,
Sorry it took so long to reply. For SQL Prompt 3 we are planning to give users the choice between installing for all users or just for the current user (although this will not be in the beta).
Without having tried it, I think it should be fine installing SQL Prompt 2 for different users on the same machine.

Hi,
Thanks for posting. The Caps Lock issue will be resolved in version 3.
Could you explain what you mean by 'editing the connections'?
