How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

Installed & no intellisense

XP Pro
Version 2002
SP2 Build 2600
3.19 GHz, 1 GB RAM
Up to date with updates from MS
SQL 2000
VS 2003

Installed SQL Prompt Version 2.0.0.59 & there are no updates available for this product.

Trying to get the product to work in SQL Query Analyzer or Enterprise Manager - did not try VS 2003.

I must be missing something because I see nothing in the Status Tab || Current Connections.

Also under Connections Tab || Saved, all I see is Server=;user=;database=

What I JUST tried was to run the SQL QA & SQL EM as me - normally I "Run As" with my Admin userid - I can do more than with my normal userid.

That was my problem. So now my question is how do I get the software to work with my admin sign on in addition to my normal sign on? Works with my normal sign on & that is what I was using when I installed the software. Do I do another "Run As" with my Admin account over the SQL Prompt exe & install the software again? How much will that mess things up?

At least I can now get the intellisense to work & see just how much work that will save.

    Hi Dennis,

Sorry it took so long to reply. For SQL Prompt 3 we are planning to give users the choice between installing for all users or just for the current user (although this will not be in the beta).

Without having tried it, I think it should be fine installing SQL Prompt 2 for different users on the same machine.

    Regards,
