Hi there,Thank you for reaching out and I apologize that you are running into issues with SQL Prompt. Can you please try updating to the latest version of SQL Prompt as there were some fixes for settings not saving.
Kind Regards,David KProduct Support Engineer

The problem remains even after the installation of the new version 10.13.8.860
My simple test case scenario is:
- run SSMS
- go to SQL Prompt > Options > Aliases> turn off Assign aliases
- shut down SSMS
- run SSMS
- check for Assign aliases option > and it's On -
This behavior continues on 10.13.10.1356 too (SSMS 18.12.1) :-(

Hi @JiriDolezal_AlzaCZ
Our apology for the delay in resolving this!
We have been discussing and testing this with our development team over the last few weeks, and the latest response from them earlier this morning is that they suspect the issue could be being cause by two snippets with the same GUID.
Would you mind navigating to %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 10 and checking the Snippets folder for any duplicate snippets? I have included a Powershell script that will help to make this process quicker.

Many thanks, David. It worked like a charm. There were duplicates in the snippets folder and your PS scripts solved it out. Consider this closed.
