    Hi Nathan,

    Thank you for your post.

SQL Prompt does not currently support SSMS 19 preview 4. It supports up to preview 2.

Me too.  I was on preview 3 and it was working.  I installed preview 4 and a bunch of the toolbelt tools started reporting errors to include SQL Prompt.  I tried uninstalling SQL Prompt and reinstalling it to no avail.  So in the end I removed preview 4 and reinstalled preview 3 and things went back to normal.

Same here! I had to deinstall all RedGate Tools to fix it. Even after reinstalling SSMS and SQL Toolbet same error. It would be good to get a fix for the issue - thanks!

    Hi

I downloaded SQL prompt 10.13.3.32087 and I am now getting the error with SSMS Preview 2.

Do I need to update to preview 4?

    Hi @ganners999

Yes, if you upgrade to preview 4 it should start working again.

    Thanks

I've switched back to SSMS 18. The preview 4 version started throwing DLL errors on attempting to connect.

Unable to load DLL 'Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SNI.x86.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) (Microsoft.Data.SqlClient)

I got the same error with SSMS 19.4.
Fixed it by running a repair install.
