Every time have an Azure SQL MI connection on my SSMS 2019, I will almost always having "Tell Redgate About this Error" dialog message. Error Details is "One or more errors occurred." So I do not know exactly what error it is.
This dialog message re-appear never-endingly every after I clicked "Cancel" or "Send Error Report" buttons. I can get rid of this error by restarting the SSMS!
The error is almost always triggered triggered when I do Schema compare/deploy or Data Compare/Deploy, the error will mostly show (not always show) after dragging the Azure database to the "Target" or "Source".

Hi @Nursalim
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!
Can I ask what version of SQL Source Control you're using?
If you go to Help > About SQL Source Control
-
It is 7.2.35.13078. We have just had the license since 3/3/2022. Thank you!

Hi @Nursalim
Would you be able to try with the latest version here? https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLSourceControl/SQLSourceControl_7.3.22.15267.exe
-
note: I'm having that same problem, with SSMS 18.11.1 (and earlier with 18.10. something).
I've tried Redgate SQL Source Control 7.3.10.14545, 7.3.22.15267, and a couple others with version numbers I haven't saved. I'm going to go back and try some earlier versions. -
Hi @Nursalim @a.higgins
Would you be able to check the log files for SQL Source Control and see if you see an error message along the following lines:
Could not load file or assembly 'Azure.Core, Version=1.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=92742159e12e44c8' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

@DanC, I do remember seeing that error message at one point, yes; I didn't specifically write down which version of step in the process I saw it at, though. If you can let me know where the log would be located, I can go take a look for you. EDIT: found the log, confirmed that the error you referenced is present.
7.2.35.13078 seems to be working okay ... I was able to use an older install file last night to get that installed, and haven't seen the error again. -
Hi @a.higgins
Ah, yes this is currently a bug that's being investigated and the working version goes up to 7.2.40, anything higher experiences the issue, if you can please lockdown to that version. The bug reference is VT-143 so any updates you see that fixes the issue will include this reference -
Thanks @DanC. I'm still having an issue with 7.2.35 ... looking at the logs, the error being recorded says something like:ErrorCode: invalid_grantMicrosoft.Identity.Client.MsalUiRequiredException: AADSTS50196: The server terminated an operation because it encountered a client request loop.

Hi @a.higgins
Could you try installing the following version as this should fix that issue: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLSourceControl/SQLSourceControl_7.2.40.13374.exe
-
@DanC, so far so good - I've installed that this morning, and have not yet seen any recurrence of the problem.
