How to speed up source control when have many tables or views

We have 4000 tables and 2000 views in one database and source control takes ages (over a minute) '3/4 registering database'.  We have already turned off tables and views in 'edit filter rules' but no improvement.
On the same server but with a different database with far fewer tables the performance is ok on that step.

    Hi @david111Unfortunately when it comes to SQL Source Control it struggles to handle a lot of Programmable Objects and so 2000 is a lot of Views for it to handle. 

    I would advise using a trial of Redgate Deploy and use Flyway Desktop to source control your objects and see if it's more performant
