PendEdit returned an unexpected number of files. SSMS v 18.10

We recently upgraded from SSMS 2017 to 2019 v18.10.  We are using Source Control v.7.2.35.13078.  

When we try to check in to our TFSVC repository we get the error:
PendEdit returned an unexpected number of files.
 Expected 4 actual 0

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

    Would you be able to try unlinking and relinking your database from SQL Source Control?
