I've found in the past that when I revert a commit in git, I have to unlink and relink the database in Redgate. However, with the later versions of Redgate Source Control, the unlink has been hanging. I end up killing SSMS using task manager. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Hi @M_Lane
Which versions of SQL Source Control and SSMS are you using?
Can you try the troubleshooting steps from the below link to see if that helps?
https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007219153-SQL-Source-Control-is-running-too-slow
If not, please try unlinking the database from SQL Source Control, then delete the content in the caches folder located in %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Source Control<version>, lastly, relink the database to SQL Source Control and confirm if anything changes?
If the issue remains, can you please send a copy of your working bases and transients folder (labeled accordingly), also located in %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Source Control<version>?
You can create a support ticket for this here: https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
