How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

W3k 64 and SQL 2000 32

I can't connect Response in this environment:

Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition 64bits SP2
SQL 2000 Enterprsie Edition 32 bits SP4

I was reading about Response Requirements but what about this combination?

What I'm doing wrong?

That should be ok - what errors are you getting?

    Server Unreachable.
The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA).

    Additional information (from me).

    1) I can connect to this server with SMS, EM, QA, Profiler, DTA.
    2) I can't use SQL Counters Performance Monitor because X64.
    3) I can't connect to this server with Diagnostic Manager from Idera because x64.

That looks like it's a WMI connection error, which may mean that WMI is disabled on that computer, or blocked or can be an authentication issue even though it doesn't say it is ( e.g. we've seen this when trying to connect cross-domain (i.e. from an account in one domain which has been made an admin on a computer in another domain). We're looking at doing more testing here as it may just be the way our domains are set up )
