Snippets

As much as I love typing ... Can you PLEASE allow for pasting text in Code Box.

After 2 hours of typing in code to this, its becoming more and more painful and something that needs fixing ASAP.

    Thank you for your post into the forum.

    I agree with you, if you have a large script the ability to paste the code into the 'Code Window' would save a huge amount of time and frustration.

    I will submit a feature request to include add this functionality to SQL Prompt.

    As a work around, you can edit the SQL Prompt 3 Snippets.xml file and manually edit the file to include your code snippets.

    I recommend that you take a copy of the SQL Prompt 3 Snippets.xml file before making any modifications.

    The snippets file is located in the following folder:

    C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3.

    Quick update.

    This feature or bug has already raised and should be fixed in the next version, version 3.5.

    Work is already underway and this version is scheduled for release in Quarter 3 - 2007.
