sql data compare message

Hi,

I am using SQL Data Compare to compare a database to a previous backup of the same database, to determine which tables are being updated by automated import processes.

I have alot of tables which cannot be compared - the message given is:

Row differences cannot be displayed because the objects cannot be compared. Ensure that object mappings and comparison keys are set correctly.

This is most likely due to bad table design, where there are no unique keys.

Can I compare these tables?

It seems that you have not set the mappings and comparison keys such that the comparison and synchronization can take place. Please see the following Help section:

Please let me know if setting the mappings and comparison keys resolves the issue.
