Error: Windows could not start the Redgate Client service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

If you receive the following Redgate Client Service error message follow the steps below:

  • Stop the Redgate Client Service
  • Delete all the contents from the folder C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\Shared Client\
  • Run the MSI file below and start the Redgate Client Service again

If the problem persists please raise a ticket and attach the Redgate Client log files.
