From my experience, this behavior in SSMS 21.3.6 feels oddly inconsistent, almost like sync issues in some 2 player games. Having to manually open Source Control and refresh the server each time is a bit annoying, but at least it reliably fixes the green status for me across all servers. / comments

From my experience, SQL Source Control menus vanish until you fully reset extensions and reinstall. I personally hope Redgate pushes a quick compatibility update soon for all users. / comments
