Good Morning,
Thanks for your inquiry about SQL Monitor. It was the case with some of our customers that early versions of SQL Monitor 5 were collecting data to the point of affecting performance or increasing the size of the data repository. With later versions of 5, the developers were able to better optimize the data collection as you have seen for yourself. Has the data repository been continuing to decrease for you so far? / comments

Good Morning,
Thank you for your inquiry about SQL Monitor.
Unfortunately it's currently not possible to export any custom alerts/metrics or alert settings that you have in SQL Monitor from one base monitor installation into another. I am sorry about the inconvenience that this brings.
If you would like for this to be a feature, I would recommend making a SQL Monitor Uservoice request for it.
Here is the web link to it: https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums ... uggestions / comments

Good Morning,
Thanks for your inquiry, and sorry to hear about your issue with SQL Monitor.
What specific version of SQL Monitor are you working with?
The issue you are experiencing typically is related to either the SQL Server Service being turned off, or not running, or the wrong port is specified in the SQL Monitor credentials section.
Are you using a standard port? If not, you need to go to Monitored Servers and edit the properties for the credentials section, specifying the non-standard port.
If neither of these work, we can try checking out the logs / comments

Good Afternoon,
I checked with the developers and they said this in regards to the settings.ObjectsPendingRemoval table:
"It should be safe to delete the data from ObjectsPendingRemoval.
Background: When you remove a cluster, the details of the cluster are stored in ObjectsPendingRemoval, then the data relating to machines in the cluster is removed from the database shortly afterwards. As a result, ObjectsPendingRemoval doesn't hold state or anything particularly important."
With this in mind, one thing you can try to ensure the deletion of the data, is to re-add the servers and then remove them with the check box for deleting the data checked. I recommend this over trying to use a string as it can be very tricky to get the procedure with the strings to work. / comments

Is the trust between the domains configured in a special way, or is it a default two-way transitive trusts? / comments
