Error installing SQL Backup 8 Server Components

Am getting the error code of 1 and the message - Your must enter a full path with drive letter; for example:
C:APP
or a UNC path in the form:
\server share

Am running locally on the SQL Server 2012 server on Windows Server 2008R2 with local admin privileges.
Have installed on 3 other instances without issue that are setup identically with exception this server is participating in a SQL Server Always On group.

Any ideas of what the error is?

Did you get a resolution for this. I am also getting same error on installing second instance, but server not part of availability group
