Hi @Kurt_M Thank you for your answer. I uninstalled all Redgate products and SSMS, restarted and installed everything back. The result is the same. I uninstalled SQL Source ControlĀ 7.7.1 and installed 7.6.34 - same error. I installed version 7.6.28 and it works. So, the error appeared somewhere between 7.6.28 and 7.6.34. I don't have all the versions in between (probably missed them in december). If you can check the changes between these versions related to the error in the first post (RedGate.SQLSourceControl.Engine.LinkedDatabaseStore.TryGetLinkedDatabase) maybe you can add a try-catch or a null check or something to prevent that exception. For now, I will stay on version 7.6.28 and I will try on a future version to see if the error disappears. Thank you. / comments

Hi, I installed SQL Compare 14.7.5 and it seems the main issue is gone. It still remains the fact that it's a bit slow when comparing long procedures because it needs to format them even if the SQL Prompt view is not selected. It would be a good optimization to do the formatting only if the SQL Prompt view is selected. / comments

I didn't do anything special... Open SQL Data Compare 12.0.40.3714, selected 2 databases, compared them, and I click on the headers from the tables grid (I have only tables). Clicking on type header results in error, the rest behave correctly. The error is "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." / comments

Hi
You are right, the visual glitches happens even without SQL Prompt installed (SQL Prompt is the first thing I install after SQL install, so I didn't notice what happens without it).
Unfortunally it happens everytime I use ctrl+tab. [image]
Thank you. / comments

Hi
I can confirm that Ctrl + click issue is solved. Good work.
The other thing, with Ctrl+C Ctrl+V, was probably related to the first issue, I don't really remember what was the problem. But now I tested a lot of combinations and it works fine.
With the new build I noticed that long click no longer shows the popup. This is a good thing for when you want to avoid the popup. Keep it like this.
Thank you. / comments
