I'm using version 3.5.16.4399... the behavior of the default databases for SQL Search is still frustrating. To reproduce, do a SQL Search on Database A. Close SSMS. Reopen. Browse Object explorer to Database A. Do a SQL Search, and it'll default to All Databases. I'm using SSMS 19.3 Would love a fix... as I need to cancel reindexing all the time (too many databases). / comments

I have the same issue... Data Compare reevaluates all the data if you switch directions. This is a real time loss because I often am cherry picking good data between two servers... and need to switch directions regularly.
Any chance a fix is on the way? / comments

I kept getting the 710 "Wrong Password Entered" error when using an older version of sqb2mtf.exe on a newer SQB file.
Just thought I'd post this for anyone running into this... / comments

An installation of SQL Prompt affects the double-click behavior in SSMS. Would really like the behavior to be unaffected since I copy/paste more than I type it seems.
Thanks! / comments

Common problem in all versions of SQL Prompt
I noticed that a less-commonly-known UPDATE syntax isn't supported by SQL Prompt.
You can alias your UPDATE statements... so this SQL (at then end of this message) actually works, but SQL Prompt is...
Double-clicking
FYI
SQL Prompt 4 seems to alter the double-clicking behavior of variable names... sometimes stopping at underscores, othertimes not.
I'm living the SQL Server 2008 RC0 world where there is no version of SQL Prompt where the "Double-Click" works. If you think there's going to be an update in the next couple weeks, then don't worry about publishing a regression option on my behalf.
Thanks again for taking the problem so seriously. You'd be amazed how often you double-click! [image]

Yeah, I just realized it was a downgrade patch, which is fine, but it doesn't work for me either.
I did find a workaround. Pull up a query window, disable SQL prompt, open ANOTHER window... that new window will work because SQL prompt is disabled. Then REENABLE SQL Prompt. That window will still behave correctly.
Not pretty but its something [image]

Variable name highlighting
Has anyone had a problem with version 3.9 of SQL Prompt altering the "double-click" highlighting behavior on variable and temp tables names?
It causing me grief because now the "@ sign or #" sign i...
