Featuer request - Auto clear alerts
Any thought to configuring the alerts so they are automatically cleared? After fixing the problem I don't want to also have to go in and clear alerts.
For example if SQL Agent is down and the alert...
Feature Request - New alerts and metrics
Just downloaded the tool as part of the toolbelt and think it is very promising. Here are a few thoughts:

Result Window Request
In the result window, can you add option to either not display the "Scripts Executed" pane or move it as tab with "Results" and "Messages"? Same applies for the "Execute Against" pane. This would...
Compare when Columns in different sequence
I've historically used other tools for comparing databases but recently started using SQL Compare. Right now I'm on SQL Compare 6.1.0.53
After my first couple of compares, it seems that SQL Compar...
Boris,
Sounds like you need a full Modeling tool that allows you to create subject areas so you can work with sub-set of database objects. I'm new to SQL Compare and have only used Erwin in the past. Since I do not need all the functionality of a data modeling tool, I've started working with SQL Compare.
Since this is not a modeling tool, I can understand not being able to filter out specific objects names but I do agree that you should at least be able able to select the types of objects before running a compare. If you only need to compare stored procedures, no sense in the engine parsing through all the other objects.
For what it's worth, add my vote for the "Types of Objects to Compare" option.

After lunch I retried and it appears to load fine now :? ... but when I try to use it I get the notice that my trial license has expired.
My guess is that the timing of the new install and the expiration of the trial license was causing the issue... especially since a co-worked installed this release for the first time today and is not having any start up issues with QA.
I've requested a short extension on the trial license to further review this. I can say that in the short-time that I've used this, I've been rather pleased especially compared to SQLPrompt2.
Thank you for your quick response on this.

Installed the Refresh version (3.0.0.819) and now QA takes about a minute to just open up. If I turn off SQLPrompt, QA opens immediatly.
I had the previous final betal release and did not notice t...
