Hello,
You're correct -- the username recorded by the source control repository is associated with the user that does the commit (it's because that's the user actually checking in files to your source control system). The "changed by" column is so that you can track for your own purposes.
Thanks,

Hello,
Thanks for the post.
In the "Link to source control" dialogue box, are you using the "Custom" source control system option? With that option, you should be able to select a config file for Mercurial that allows you to commit/use comments instead of just saving to a working folder.
You might want to take a look at this article: http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... nfig+files
Hope that helps.

Hello,
Thanks for your post and sorry you're experiencing issues.
Would you mind sending in your log file to us at support@red-gate.com?
If you could turn the logging up first, that would be great. To do this, follow the steps in this document: http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... +log+files
Your EngineOptions file should look like this: <EngineOptions version="3" type="EngineOptions">
<LogLevel>All</LogLevel>
</EngineOptions>
Once you have the logging turned up, please open SSMS and re-create the behavior that causes poor performance, then close SSMS. That should generate a log file that you can send over. It will be located in "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Red Gate\Logs\SQL Source Control 3"
We have a ticket open for you (21056), which you should have gotten an email for, so please respond to that.
Thanks,

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
To be honest, I'm surprised your solution worked if unlinking/relinking doesn't work (that should rebuild the transient folder from scratch). Please let us know if you run into any more issues.

Hello,
Thanks for your post.
Unfortunately there's no way to import a list of objects. The best bet is to save a project that references a filter.
In theory, you could actually modify the filter file (it's in "%userprofile%\Documents\SQL Compare\Filters" by default) with some sort of script that would import a list of objects, but this is not something we'd be able to support if you run into issues.
Hope that helps.

Hello,
Thanks for your post.
Unfortunately it's not possible to use a where clause with a command line switch directly, but you can save a project file in the UI with a where clause defined and use the /project switch to reference it.
I'll also log this in our existing feature request (reference SDC-718).
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm not sure I'm understanding your situation, but to confirm -- are you looking in the repository you have set up for your specific database? That should only have .sql files associated with objects in your database.
Thanks,

Hello,
Thanks for your post.
This error comes up when there is an extra create script in the repository somewhere. Can you check your repository in the extended properties folder for duplicates? If you find any, you'll have to delete one of them, then unlink and relink the database to source control.
Sorry about the inconvenience.

Hello,
Thanks for your post.
I just tried reproducing the issue with the same function name but wasn't able to get the same behavior.
We have a ticket open for you (19871) -- would you mind responding there with the full script in your repository?
Thanks,
