I am actually still getting this error "headToWorkingBase didn't get set" when I re-link to my Git repo, however the biggest issue is the inability to use the product at all due to additional errors following this initial error message. / comments

I have had an open ticket now for over 5 days and absolutely zero resolution for this critical issue. For as much money as I've spent on licenses, I would expect better. This solution has been unusable since late last week. / comments

There were no updates available, so I assume I am running the latest, and can not even check the version with Help|About... since it totally crashes the environment and presents an exception dialog saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Just getting tired of the updates breaking so frequently from red gate lately. / comments

I have the exact same issue. Yes, I unlinked and relinked and still have the same issue. This product is 100% unusable in the current state. Please provide a fix, or a link to the previous version so I can get this working again. / comments

Redgate, please provide download link for the previous 9.5.0.9311 build.
You should be able to login to your Red Gate account, go to My Products and re-download "latest version". The latest version link is NOT the new 9.5.1 update, just FYI, which is good.
I just did that again and it was the 9.0 build, yet the installer thinks it was the 9.5.1 build, so when it prompted to update to 9.5.0, it failed thinking a newer build was already installed. I did however find the previous build in the C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Temp\Red Gate\CFU folder, so I uninstalled the last build and re-installed the SQLPrompt_9.5.0.9311.exe build. Did Redgate lose some of it's Dev or QA staff recently? These seem like very preventable issues. / comments

I have been experiencing the same issue with SQL Compare 11. It does not occur with SQL Compare 10, so I am not able to upgrade until this bug has been fixed. / comments
