You misunderstood me. There IS no use case for this. SQL DW/PDW/APS is an exceptionally small niche that is not worth Redgate pursuing. / comments

For numerous reasons I suspect the uptake of that product to be exceptionally small in the grand scheme of things. I sure hope Redgate doesn't "waste" effort supporting it. No Field of Dreams there. :-) / comments

First thing is to research your RDP tool to see if you can adjust screen size. Failing that, the next best idea is to get a better RDP tool. :-)
However, for a window that is not maximized you can click the upper left corner of the window and select Move from the drop down menu. So check to see if there is a keystroke combo that will get you that menu so you can get Move selected (with down-arrow and enter) and then you can use down-arrow to reposition the window. / comments

I'm not sure what the OP is asking for, or did, either. Offline as in detach the database? / comments

I think this new feature will be helpful. I wish there was a better way to implement it, although the permissions requirements will likely be met in most cases without needing an environmental change. I don't like that it is tied to a full Toolbelt license, but I can see the financial incentive for doing that. / comments

I think this could be an incredibly powerful analytic feature. To make it so, at least for performance tuning, you need a GOOD set of rules that each have a high-probability of showing poorly-performing code, with minimal false positives or negatives. You also need a way to have SQL Monitor do a sweep/recommend JUST performance issues. Think Rules Categories. There are more than a few TSQL thingies that could be flagged as questionable/poorly written that have nothing at all to do with performance (no aliases, NOLOCK, etc). / comments
