Hello Brian, I am actually talking about application.dat file that multiscript stores all the servers you added to the Database distribution list. We had a SSIS package that would create the application.dat file with our servers, where anyone can copy it to their PC. Now for some reason it is failing after upgrading multiscript. If someone can give us the correct string inside the application.dat file we need to follow, this will help us tremendously / comments

Hello David, we are using SVN as our Source control system. the weekend restore is being driven by developers requesting ad-hoc refreshes to the database data. If developers know that the datbase data will be refreshed once a week, they wouldn't need to ask for this request.
SSC will not care if we restore a database that it is linked to? / comments

We will be using t-sql into a job that will run this process to restore the DB. All of our Link DBs are in sharing mode.
Do you have an article I can read that will help me setup sql compare to do a get latest from SSC to our restored Database? I am sure we would have to put this in a batch file of some sort, so we can automate it. / comments

See if my picture makes sense. I selected a past revision, there were a few more commits to SSC before and after this commit. I selected the revision i wanted to compare against production. The only change on this commit was 1 stored proc in red mark but as you can see by my picture it is showing a whole lot more.
How can I get Sql compare to just show me the 1 stored proc from the svn revision instead of all those other changes that are different from dev to prodcution server. If I wanted to automate deployment, would it be possible? Thanks [image] / comments

I see more than what has been committed to SVN, It shows me differences between databases as well the difference from my c:\users\ which is where the comparison should come from? / comments

Ok, I got it to map table_name 1 to Table_name 2 but it didn't compare anything because it could not identify a comparison key. Even though I did set a Comparison Key on both tables under the Table and Views tab first.
Is this something that will be added in a future release or another way to accomplish this?
Thanks / comments

Hello Chris, I thought I was going nuts because i saw I had 64 changes that needed to be commited into SSC but I was only showing 6 when using SQL Compare. My work for some reason blocks updates via the tool. Do you have a direct link I can get to the latest version or do I need to email support?
Thanks

Hi
SQL Source Control v3.0.5.7 includes a mechanism to allow comparison options to be configured.
To get this version, please run Check For Updates from the Help menu in SQL Source Control. This is a free upgrade for existing licensed v3 users and for users with a Support & Upgrades contract.
Comparison options can now be set via a configuration file in your database repository's Working Base folder. The following Knowledge Base support article describes how to configure this option: KB201202000521 - Setting SQL Compare options within SQL Source Control
Our plan in the future is to provide an options dialog to allow users to configure the comparison options that are changed most often, but we believe this configuration file procedure should help users in the interim.
If you'd like to see an options dialog exposing these settings in SQL Source Control, please vote on the associated Idea on our UserVoice site. It'd be great if you could also leave a comment indicating which specific options you'd like to see in the dialog.
Best regards,
Chris
