I think we've already been in touch with you about this, but I'll post here for posterity's sake -
We can't have full support for SQL 2012 until it's officially released, but we're planning on introducing support for Denali in a stepped manner. First, we'll support Denali database servers in version 3.1, and we should have basic SSMS 2012 support in version 3.2. When Denali is officially released in Q2 next year we should have full support ready.
Thanks! / comments

This is an issue that's been brought up before, and we've got it logged in our bug-tracking system, so I'll add your report to that.
Unfortunately, for the time being I'm afraid there's no way to retain tab characters short of running a search and replace after selecting 'Format SQL'. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. / comments

I don't think you need the sync option to run this, that's mysterious. Can you try patching it with the install found here: ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQL_ ... .25.22.exe
and let me know if you still see the problem? / comments

We've seen this before with the tool - it can be very slow with large databases. We don't currently have a workaround for it, but it's being actively worked on by our dev team, so it should be addressed in an update soon. Sorry! / comments

There's no 'resolved' tag or anything, so don't worry - we'll leave this thread up so that other users can see the link to the version in case they need it. Thanks! / comments

We've got a support article up about the differences between dedicated and shared models which you might find useful here: http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... Models.htm
It's a good idea to go for either one or the other, but you'll probably be fine keeping the environment mixed. If you do run into any trouble, let us know! / comments

Hi Rob,
Your proposed solution (static linking the data and maintaining a separate SQL script) is pretty much what we'd recommend, as there isn't a good way to do this with SQL Source Control. Sorry! / comments

Right now this isn't possible, unfortunately. If you'd like I can submit it as a feature request for future versions, but I can't give you any guarantees on when it might be implemented. / comments

SQL Compare Professional includes command line utilities that can be used in batch files to automate tasks. There are a few examples here: http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... gthecl.htm
You can also use the Comparison SDK to compare programmatically, although this is a separate purchase: http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... g_page.htm / comments

Hi Barry,
I'm afraid what you're after can't be done with the current functionality in Data Compare, but I've logged a feature request for you, reference SDC-1281. Sorry I couldn't be more help with this. / comments
