Thanks for your question.
SQL Data Compare 8 includes the WHERE clause in the update scripts. This causes issues if it selects from another table and that table hasn't been updated yet. It's not easy to tell when this is going to happen.
SQL Data Compare 9 doesn't seem to have this issue, it may be worth upgrading/evaluating it if you haven't done so already.
I hope this helps. / comments

Thanks for your question, unfortunately this isn't a SQL Source Control issue, the best people to ask would be the people who deal with SVN directly. Alternatively, you could post a question here: http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/
You could try having a look here: http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questi ... ntegration http://www.fogcreek.com/fogbugz/docs/40 ... nScri.html
Other than that there isn't much else I can suggest but they should be able to help.

Thanks for contacting Red Gate, I'm sorry that you're having some trouble with SQL Backup.
When you attempt to activate one of our products, a .lic file is created. It looks like you could be having a permissions problem which is why it's not able to be created. The other thing is might be is that the file may have already been created - so you could check if there is one there under that filepath.
If you are trying to activate the product on a cluster, you need to make sure you are an administrator on both of the clusters, you will also need to make sure that you have read/write permissions on the folders within that filepath.
I hope this answers your question. / comments

With regards to including columns within the synchronisation despite them being excluded from the comparison, this has already been requested by others, but I will add your comments to the request. The code for this is SDC-778 if you would like to chase this up in the future.
I have also created a feature request for the ability to ignore selected columns from the data comparison for every relevant table, the request code for this is SDC-1241.
I'm not sure when these features will be implemented, but if you would like to chase these up at any point just quote those codes.
Thanks / comments

Unfortunately it is not possible to customise the server drop down list.
However, if you are always not seeing the server you use all the time, you could try checking to see if the SQL Server Browser service is running? It may be that it is not set to automatically start. The SQL Server Browser service allows your machine to additionally find the list SQL Servers that are not listening on the default port, which your SQL Server may be a member of.
I hope this is helpful. / comments

Many thanks for your suggestions, I think they are reasonable however I don't believe they've been requested yet.
It would be great if you could add them to our uservoice site, where other users can vote for them to be added in the future. http://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/390 ... ce-control
