Updating the server dropdown list in Data Compare 8

When I start a new data compare, I find the drop down that contains the server list contains a bunch of servers that I never need to connect to, but the server I most commonly connect to isn't there. Is it possible to update this list?

    Thanks for your question.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to customise the server drop down list.

    However, if you are always not seeing the server you use all the time, you could try checking to see if the SQL Server Browser service is running? It may be that it is not set to automatically start. The SQL Server Browser service allows your machine to additionally find the list SQL Servers that are not listening on the default port, which your SQL Server may be a member of.
