Hi Robm,
Lionel and I have been chatting this morning about this. We both expect MySQL Compare to automatically ignore schema names. We are aware that the highlighting in the difference pane shows the schema names as different but that is not considered different by the product engine.
I really would like to help figure out what the problem is. Can you please email us at mysql@red-gate.com , perhaps with an example of the schema in which you see this problem and we can get to the bottom of it for you.
Thanks,

Ah I see.
The installer itself needs space to unpack before installing Data Compare.
You can set this to your other drive by setting an environment variable called RGTEMP to point to the required location. / comments

Hi dschierbaum,
When you run the installer, just after agreeing to the End User License Agreement, you should arrive at a screen called "Customizing the installation folder" which allows you to choose a new location for installation.
Thanks,

Hi James,
Thanks for the steps, we have been able to reproduce and fix the sync direction bug you found.
We have also fixed the warning bug.
You are right, an error like that should not crash Data Compare. We will investigate handling that one more gracefully.
We will have a new build ready soon with these changes.
Thank you for trying the tool and giving us your feedback,

Hi James,
Thanks for testing Data Compare and for giving us this information. We are investigating the issues you reported.
Can you tell us what you mean by "the information there suggests that the actual synchronisation hasn't been reversed."? Is that information the script, the warnings or the summary?
Your second post gives an Oracle error ORA-010301: insufficient privileges which suggests that the user you are logged in as on the target does not have permission to update the table "TWEBSITE"."ACCESS_REQUESTS".

Hi awestrope and senorplankton,
I've tried senorplankton's original example both with the force column order option on and off in the latest version of MySQL Compare and the deployment was successful.
Can either of you try it please to confirm it is fixed? You can get the latest via Check for Updates on the Help menu or download it from www.mysql-compare.com
