Hi,
We have been able to reproduce the issue locally and are currently work towards a fix. We've been rather busy with a number of items with Compare 12 but this is now top of our support list.

Hi Rob,
Sorry to hear you've hit this known issue with the 11.3.0 release. Due to some changes to how we detect versions, additional permissions were required when running on Sql Server 2008 and later if the database was set to a compatibility level. I'm pleased to say we've produced a fix for the issue and you can get this on our frequent updates channel. To enable frequent updates please see our documentation here.

Hi Bvukov,
Sorry to hear that you're hitting an issue with Compare. It appears you've found a feature of CLR functions that is not currently understood by our comparison engine. I've logged a bug for us to look at getting this properly supported and resolved (SC-8034). I'll make a note to let you know on this thread when this issue is resolved.

Hello Ozgu,
Unfortunately, I've been unable to replicate the exact issue you're experiencing.
I would recommend contacting our support team using the following link: https://redgatesupport.zendesk.com. They should be able to work with you to get a replication of the issue and allow us to work towards a fix.

Hi Jschwarz,
It looks like there's some fairly strange behaviour happening here. When comparing two scripts folder (or revisions) we would expect the 'Add database USE statement' option to not have any affect if you were deploying the changes to the second scripts folder. However I would expect the deployment script that is generated to migrate you between these two database states to include this statement. I have a logged a new bug (SC-8004) for us to investigate this further. We'll let you know when this has been resolved.

Hi Patrick,
The SDK does support SQL Server 2014. It seems fairly strange that you get this issue on connecting to one server and not another. Could you confirm that you're using the 11.1 release of the SDK? Would it be possible for you to share the code that is causing the issue here so that I can take a look for you?

Hi Qualarella,
Unfortunately this is not something we have added in the latest releases of SQL Compare. We have an item on our backlog to look at adding sub-object support. This would allow you to select individual indexes, and other sub-objects of a table for comparison, rather than having to compare the whole thing each time. I can't comment on when we will be working on this feature at the moment as we are still drawing up plans of our roadmap for the rest of the year. If this is something you feel we should be working on, could you open a enhancement request on our user voice, we will be using this in the planning phase to determine the next priority once we complete work on the new UI and 2016 support.
