Hi there,
Is there a planned release date for this fix? We are on Version 4.0.2.53 and the problem is still there.
The workaround works fine, but we would like to have it working as in v3.
Many thanks! / comments

Hi there,
I have been in contact with Nigel at Redgate and the issue seems resolved. If you cannot see any activity history, try re-sorting the "empty" window. This redraws the history data and sorts out a broken index entry for the GUI.
I had a new build installed and the problem was fixed without having to re-sort the data.
(Sorry Nigel if i steal your thunder, just wanted to let fatherjack know as he mentions the problem here explicitly.) / comments

Hi Nigel,
deleting all the files within the local cache directory and then starting the GUI made no difference.

As an actual end user, would you like to see the yellow warning icon for transfers that completed successfully, but had handled network outage/jitters at some point?
Many thanks,
Robin
Hi Robin,
Yes I would like to see a warning, not an error. The yellow icon always tells me that things have finished, but something had a hiccup. I can then investigate the problems from there.

Level 4 should be fine for me, just wanted to see if you're going to bring out bigger guns per release

....In addition to what Matt said, I can say in regard to point 1) that Compression Analyser is a separate application from SQL Backup (you can find the .exe in the install directory) whilst the other dialogs / wizards are modal child windows, which (for better or for worse) is how most Windows forms work. ...
I was just thinking in terms of SSMS, where there is almost nothing that cannot be done simultaneously. I don't know how often I have entered almost all the details into the Backup/Restore wizard, only to have to close it (and lose everything) so I can look at some setting somewhere else to make sure it is right.
I hope this is a point that is high up on the priority list for future releases.

p.s. thanks for the heads-up on modal! Couldn't remember the word  / comments
