Tried this on another server (with a default instance) and get exactly the same problem. Ie the filename of the primary file being overwritten with DATA and the file path losing the final folder ie the DATA folder / comments

I cant seem to deactivate my licenses (I couldnt activate them online either) and had to do it manually.
Unfortunelty you cant deactivate manually so a bit stuck.
The server with the base monitor has access to the internet via a proxy server. The proxy is configured in IE and via proxycfg and it still doesnt appear to work? / comments

I am getting the prompts when performing the remote registry tests.
This is our only SQL server which isnt in the domain (just in a workgroup) and is a windows 2000 / SQL Server 2000. I havent had a chance to do more testing. Will post back findings when I do. / comments

I personally don’t find the counts intuitive. To sum both server and instances at the group level just doesn’t seem right to me. I think just counting instance would seem more logical to me. The hover over detail is far more useful but is probably too much detail to fit in the UI nicely.
I will just use the hover over details in future, thanks for the tip. / comments

Have restarted the service and it appears to be working ok. Still getting the above error (DBNull) in the logs though. / comments
